Our Bee Experience!

Come and immerse yourself in the wonderful world of bees.   Our bee experiences will give you an insight into these fascinating creatures.  If you're just curious about bees, or are thinking of taking up beekeeping, our fun and interactive sessions are for you!   Your session will last approximately 2 hours and we'll cover the following:

  • A introduction to the workings of a beehive including the lifecycle and the tasks they perform.

  • The importance of bees to our ecosystem

  • How bees make honey

It will then be time to get into a bee suit and up close with the bees.  You'll have the opportunity to inspect a frame to look for eggs and larvae and of course locate the queen!

After the hive inspection you will learn about different types of honey and of course, try a sample or two!   Refreshments will be provided!
